Our ride services are the heart and soul of our organization. Whether it’s a doctor’s appointment or out for groceries, we get our members there in a safe, dependable, and dignified manner.

Before You Ride

To be eligible for transportation with us, you must be a member. The annual membership fee is $50. If you were a Member of ITN Suncoast we should already have your information. Just call (888) 295-2376 to review it and reactive you. You will also need to fund a personal transportation account before riding with us. The recommended amount to fund your personal account is $50, and is refundable.  Please complete the application online at www.seniortransport.org or call (888) 295-2376 to get set up.

Rides

We will try to accommodate all types of rides (medical, grocery, etc.), however we may need to prioritize rides based on availability of drivers. Medical rides will take priority, and other rides will be scheduled based on driver availability. If you leave a message to schedule a ride, we will call to confirm your ride. 

Rates

Rides are charged at a rate of $2.15 per mile plus a $2 pickup fee. There is a $1.25 extra stop fee for any stops made along the way (for example, on the way home from an appointment a rider wants to stop at a convenience store).

There is a $5 minimum charge per ride (example, a ride of 1 mile would be $2.15 plus $2 for a total of $4.15, since that’s less than the minimum the charge would be $5.00).

There are higher rates and fees for same day rides. The mileage rate is $2.75 per mile, and the minimum charge is $6. After hours (evenings and weekends) rides have a $4 pickup fee.
